Job description:

• Conduct analysis of the economic market data and prepare periodic reports;
• Collect industry related market information and consolidate them into reports and presentations;
• Investigate macro and micro economic factors influencing commodity markets (with a special attention to the nonferrous metals - e.g. copper);
• Prepare reports on findings, illustrate data graphically and translate complex findings into written text;
• Monitor of the processing industry for non-ferrous metals (wire rod plants, tube manufacturers etc.);
• Monitor the updates on the environmental regulations affecting the commodity industry;
• Monitor industrial policies;
• Work closely with other analysts in the team on various projects;
• Summarize research findings in a comprehensive manner;
• Attend business meetings and conferences with ability to recognize relevant information;
• Provide monthly and weekly reports on relevant issues to the Supervisor;
• Perform periodical market analysis and research based on received instructions;
• Analyze current data and recognize incoming trends within China

Trade

• Promote Company’s products within China and the region;
• Develop new sales leads and maintain good relationships with existing clients;
• Draft news releases in compliance with Group’s strategy;

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in international trade or business related major (economics);
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Market analysis background;
• Strong logical analysis capability;
• Good networking skills;
• Quality orientation, attention to detail and accuracy;
• Teamwork, analytical and good communication skills;
• Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Goal oriented and open minded personality;
• Knowledge of mining and commodity industry (metals, coal, steel) will be great advantage;
• Work experience in similar position 2-5 years
• Work in analytical institution will be an advantage
