MARS is inviting to join at the position of Finance Business Partner for Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia)

 

Definition of the Role: Finance business partner plays a critical role in defining and implementing unit financial strategy by working closely with the Market Director and cross functional teams. Role delivers good visibility of unit performance to enable delivery of KPI's. Finance Business Partner is also member of the regional Finance team and contributes to regional projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Works closely with the Market Director and sales team as a trusted advisor
  • Understands the business model and market dynamics well, links the financial targets and strategy to them
  • Supports the unit with implementation of business strategy by tracking and reporting of performance
  • Participates in periodic business forums, performs required pre and post analysis, represents Mars Baltic unit in broad finance meetings 
  • Leads the financial forecasting of the unit by converting inputs, risks and opportunities to unit PL. Ensures timely and quality input to forecasting tools.
  • Present periodic business results and financial forecast. Performs period end close check actions (trade, accruals, profitability controls)
  • Continuously monitors and updates assumptions for a realistic financial projection
  • As unit representative of Finance Team, monitors business activities in governance lens and collaborates with financial controlling team to implement/sustain required controls
  • Participates in local and cluster  projects

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related areas
  • Minimum 4-5 years of solid experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, planning, forecasting, business partnering
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams and leadership teams
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles, familiarity with period close activities
  • Familiar with financial control and governance frame
  • FMCG experience is preferable
  • Operating experience in SAP is a plus
