Your tasks and responsibilities

The Market Development Farm Technician supports the field trial program execution that is assigned to the Market Development Representative. The position is an 8-month term with an anticipated start date on April 2021 to December 2021. This position is based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta which is near Edmonton, Alberta.

Key Tasks:

• Operate, maintain and transport research equipment
• Seed, spray, harvest of research trials
• Data entry from research trials
• Manage all tasks associated with compliance requirements for the research program
• Support HSE activities at the local site

• Bachelor of Science
• Experience with research equipment
• Experience in data collection from an agriculture research program
• Team player and can work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
