Flexible mobility offers such as Mercedes-Benz Rent or EQ subscriptions, enable an uncomplicated entry into e-mobility, complementing the service portfolio. With its subsidiary Athlon, Mercedes-Benz Mobility is present in Europe in operational fleet management and vehicle leasing and is responsible for around 400,000 vehicles.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz Mobility investments in the market for urban mobility services: The joint ventures FREE NOW, SHARE NOW and CHARGE NOW combine solutions for ride-hailing and multi-modal mobility, car sharing and electric vehicle charging. At the same time, the portfolio also includes StarRides – a limousine transport service joint venture in China – and the participation in the Berlin chauffeur service Blacklane.

The team Market Performance Management Europe is responsible for the effective and sustainable development and growth of Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG portfolio, and hence sales in Europe. We spearhead new revenue generation and capitalize on untapped markets, new products and business models putting best customer experience in the center of our decision in order to catalyze loyalty and growth.
The jobholder drives the consistent and proactive management of sales related business topics. In this role, the position holder fulfills a holistic coordination role and assumes direct responsibility for the steering and tracking of the market performance, the development of existing and new business/ revenue opportunities, manages multiple stakeholder relations in alignment of divisional, functional as well as global aspirations jointly with the local management.
If you have a proven track record in sales & marketing, market management and/or business development in automotive and/or finance sector, know-how of the local markets, if you have the proven experience in working with people from different cultures and backgrounds and you are brilliant in managing relationships with multiple stakeholders, we want you to be part of this journey within our team.
Your tasks will be:
Performance Management
- Monitor the sales performance of Mercedes-Benz Mobility in the markets and initiate measures to support the target achievement
- Ensure efficient use of sales programs and foster best practice sharing
- Steer the annual planning process with the markets in close alignment with our Mercedes-Benz Cars colleagues
- Active steering of quarterly as well as monthly market performance reporting including constant monitoring of KPIs, triggering action plans and related follow-ups
- Ensure the achievement of Customer Loyalty and Dealer Satisfaction targets
Market management and brand relationship management
- Manage a close relationship with management team of our local entities (primarily Managing Director and Sales Director)
- Act as the single point of contact for the market with respect to all topics (with focus on sales) towards Mercedes-Benz Mobility regional and HQ functions
- Represent and highlight market perspective and customer needs within HQ organization
- Manage the relationship with Mercedes-Benz Cars colleagues in Region Europe by jointly setting the agenda of strategic and operative customer and sales-related topics
- Manage a close relationship within the Mercedes-Benz Mobility Region Europe and facilitate best practice sharing with other regions and markets
- Interfacing and communicating relevant market issues and topics towards the relevant regional and functional responsible colleagues and support ad-hoc requests of HQ being the key contact to the market
- Jointly with the respective local management team, support the implementation and coordination of global Mercedes-Benz Cars and Mercedes-Benz Mobility strategic projects and initiatives (e.g. Retail of the Future, Electric Vehicle growth, Retention, etc.) and assume representation of sales or market perspective
- Support the market in developing and identifying opportunities that will meet changing customer demands, help Mercedes-Benz sell more cars and achieve Financial Services penetration and portfolio targets
