In this role, you have the opportunity to

Implement Philips Procurement Policy, Process and System, maximize the professional procurement leverage for Philips, geared to optimize total costs of Philips by ensuring the best possible solutions in the applicable region/area. Bring innovations from the supply market and market intelligence to procurement management with continuously improvements; so that the organization can benefit from economies of scale in IMS spend management while ensuring quality.

You are responsible for

Procurement management of both Indirect Materials & Services (IMS) and Service & Solutions (S&S, sales order related 3rd party products & services procurement) in Taiwan.

• Understand the business needs, adhere to company procurement policy and processes, provide the professional procurement solutions to meet the business needs and ensure the delivery on quality/time/cost.
• Lead the development & implementation of an integrated set of purchasing actions that anticipate on the needs of the business, drive savings via professional procurement levers/tools.
• Supplier sourcing, negotiation, selection, contract (S2C) and PR (P2P) management.
• Supply base continuous optimization, supplier relationship management, and stakeholder engagement

You are a part of

Philips Procurement team, Indirect Material & Services (IMS) organization, report to Philips Greater China Market Procurement Leader (MPL), based at Shanghai.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor degree or above (major in science and engineering, economics / commercial, legal, finance or MBA will be preferred).
• Minimum 5 years working experience in procurement function, experience in third party or project related procurement experience is highly preferred.
• Familiar with ARIBA/SAP system, experience in LEAN / PM experience could be an advantage.
• An open and can do mindset, quick learner in a changing environment.
• Good at problem analyzing and solving for continuous improvements.
• General business acumen with a sense of urgency, could hands on details and also have strategic thinking. Result-oriented as well as process-driven.
• Strong communication and influence skills in both Chinese and English. Have capability to interact with business and functional leaders.
• Eager to win, take ownership, team up to excel, and always act with integrity
