Job Description:

The Marketing Automation Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Bentley’s enterprise marketing automation platforms. They will work with the digital strategy teams to execute and maintain programs that are designed to improve customer experience, increase marketing efficiency, shorten sales cycles and deliver high-quality leads to the sales teams around the world. This role will be responsible for maintaining the data quality of Bentley’s global marketing database and developing insightful reporting at the business and corporate level to illustrate business impact of marketing efforts and identify improvements in processes.

This role will drive data quality and reliability, optimized workflows and internal performance. It will also be pivotal in establishing enhanced automation and integrations of internal systems utilized across the organization, managing the quarterly updates from software vendors and evaluating new functionality. This role reports to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations.

  • SAP Marketing Cloud Platform
  • ON24 Webinar Platform
  • Certain Event Automation Management Platform
  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Dashboard technologies including, but not limited to, SAP Analytic Cloud, SAP BusinessObjects Cloud and Microsoft Power BI
  • Webdam Digital Asset Management
  • This role does not manage the website or social media platforms

 

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Automation Platform administration
  • Serve as the enterprise-wide expert on marketing automation
  • Optimize and standardize marketing automation processes across the organization.
  • Track and measure program objectives from adoption to execution and optimization
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure there is a cohesive creation, execution and testing/optimization strategy to increase engagement
  • Perform platform maintenance and develop and execute testing programs for continual optimization
  • Coordinate and conduct training and keep users informed about system functionality and enhancements
  • Provide day to day Tier 2 end-user support and assist users to troubleshoot issues and increase their knowledge of marketing automation technologies
  • Work with the marketing team to implement solutions (templates, landing pages, campaign flows, dashboards, etc.)
  • Coordinate the development of reports and dashboards at the business and corporate levels to illustrate marketing contribution to revenue (pipeline, opportunities, revenue)
  • Work with the Web and Social teams to manage the integration between the all Marketing platforms and applications
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including technical designs, project plans, workflows and training documents

 

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree or MBA is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Marketing teams with digital technologies, B2B experience preferred
  • At least 3 years Marketing Automation and CRM Administration experience
  • Experience with campaign management using cloud applications (e.g., SAP Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo)
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Automation and CRM best practices
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes
  • Experience working with external vendors/partners to configure/develop software applications
  • Experience with presenting to a variety of audiences – senior executives, technical experts, non-technical team members and other groups.
  • Experienced in hands-on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members as well as non-technical members of the organization
  • User & Role Administration experience
  • Strong organizational, administration and time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as-needed
