Job Description
Position Description: PURPOSE The Marketing Center of Excellence Sr. Manager leads a team of cross- functional modern marketing professionals focused on maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our North American Commercial Marketing campaign investments. The Center of Excellence team is responsible for the end-to-end execution of digital-led marketing programs including, but not limited to, paid media, paid social, content partnerships, email, and events. Working closely with segment managers and marketing budget operations, this role will lead the strategy, design, and execution of the marketing activation plan. The ideal candidate must be able to operate at strategic and tactical levels, facilitating a scalable go-to-market execution framework while also helping the team set budgets and KPIs within individual programs. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop the cross-segment activation strategy for strategic initiatives in partnership with segment marketing teams, ensuring key business and marketing objectives are met Lead the Center of Excellence team in building targeted activation plans and executing with a high level of operational excellence Work across segments (Large Enterprise, SMB, and Public Sector) to bring campaigns to market Collaborate with internal teams to create an integrated campaign experience, optimized for the customer journey across multiple touchpoints Develop benchmarking strategies, define annual and quarterly performance targets, and actively evaluate and report on progress to key stakeholders Ensure optimal use of budgets across campaigns, programs, and tactics Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights Actively manage team bandwidth and workload to ensure balance Manage the North America marketing infrastructure stack and supporting agency and partner relationships, ensuring alignment to needs of the team and scope Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate SKILLS Current, in-depth knowledge of leading digital media platforms, best practices, and trends Ability to effectively communicate across varying levels of an organization, flexing easily between strategic and executional Creative problem-solver with proven ability to effectively lead and negotiate at all levels Demonstrated understanding of the creative process in a deadline-driven environment Ability to remain calm and collected and maintain a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment Understanding of what is necessary and appropriate to deliver goals (requires understanding beyond basic process adherence and extends into understanding when exceptions and escalations are necessary) Excellent analytical capability Mastery of project management and process orientation #### Position Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in Marketing or relevant field Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing Prior team management experience is preferred We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
