- Balance global responsibility as Marcom Manager and regional manager for selected segments with deployment of all related activities in the APAC region
- Branding and Communications is regarded as subjective and therefore hard to manage, but job-holder is working in close cooperation with the full Marcom Team and M&S Director to change this perception
- Responsible for the building of the brand perception, visibility and promotion within the APAC region. (Accountability for the brand is with the Global Manager of Marketing Communications DSM Dyneema®)
- Advise and support the business & marketing teams on transforming the business model to be based on brand recognition and engagement.
- Develop measurements and metrics to track and develop key communications drivers internally and externally.
- Implement corporate DSM guidelines as described in the DSM brand book.
- Create, propose and implement Global marketing communications plans for selected business segments, and branding program as part of the overall Strategic Marketing Plan(s)
- Co-create, implement & monitor the MarCom plans for all DSM Dyneema segments in APAC region
- Plan & support the enhancement of employee engagement by sustaining a continuous and timely communication and information flow (e.g. Inside Dyneema®) all on the basis of the one DSM Culture agenda
- Propose DSM Dyneema MarCom communication budget for the Segment, manage activities within budget: Co-promotion with licensees; Localization of global content and activation; Vendor billing and budget tracking
- Project manage major events related to communications i.e. trade shows, PR programs, press events, media relations in line with budget
- Advise line management. on internal communication policy, and execution (tactics, process and tools)
- Act as process manager for DSM Dyneema communication processes and guard compliance with the Corporate Requirements
- Drive cross regional team work and stay in close connection to the Global Marketing Communications team
- Take the lead in identifying, proposing and managing key external agency resources in the delivery of communications, PR, online/interactive & branding strategy and plans in close cooperation with Marcom Managers in EMEA and Americas.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in communications, marketing and/or related field
- At least 8 years working experience in a B2B marketing/branding role
- Experience in writing and implementing an overall (marketing) communication plan (internal/external) in order to realize the business strategy and objectives and grow the brand
- Communication related skills, knowledge, and experience
- Proven success in Project management
- Demonstrated experience in communication tactics, process (on- and offline) and tools (including new business/product launches)
- Self-propelling attitude and self-motivated and proactive work style
- Analytical thinker with strategic background
- Very good communication skills in English
- Good understanding of communication processes
- Strong networking and oral and written communications skills
- Knowledge of media management principles and ability to apply them in a complex value chain environment
- Strong understanding of digital landscape and tooling
- Experience with Google Analytics and Adobe stack preferred but not mandatory
