Eaton’s Marketing Commercial Operations is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. The preferred locations for this position are Pittsburgh, PA, Beachwood, OH or Charlotte, NC or this role can be remotely based. Position Overview: The marketing communications manager will lead the strategy, development, execution, and measurement of marketing communications activities, both digital and traditional. Critical to the success of this position is the ability to build productive and professional relationships with product and segment marketing, sales, other marketing communications professionals and creative agencies to achieve objectives. In this function you will: Provides strategic leadership to create results-oriented, integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, preference and demand aligned with growth programs Creates value-driven messaging, content marketing strategies and measurable outreach programs that resonate with key target audiences at all stages of the sales funnel Determines the most effective mix of customer-facing events, public and media relations, thought leadership initiatives, social media, digital tools, lead generation and lead nurturing activities Manages the product launch process and continues to promote those products as part of a larger offering through audience-focused content and campaigns Expertly utilizes the marketing technology (martech) stack for project management, execution and measurement Uses analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, digital content and events, both virtual and in-person, and turns metrics into actionable insights for continuous improvement Identifies and leverages cross-business promotional opportunities Develops annual marketing communications plans defining strategies, tactics, timelines and budget requirements Understands all aspects of Eaton’s brand promise, attributes and standards, and accurately represents Eaton in written and verbal communications to position Eaton as a leading power management company Effectively manages budget allocations; provides accurate forecasts; processes, tracks and reconciles supplier invoices Manages supplier relationships Why work at Eaton? Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 7 years of experience in B-to-B marketing, digital marketing or communications Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, analytics, integrated campaigns, lead generation, demand generation and sales enablement strategy No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution Marketing communications leadership Electrical product, market and channel knowledge Aptitude for understanding and explaining highly technical information Aptitude for learning and adopting tools in the martech stack Experience with a web development platform (AEM preferred) and a marketing automation platform (Eloqua preferred) Adept at analyzing digital marketing data Position Criteria: Strategic agility, innovative thinker Superior verbal and written communication skills Self-starter comfortable in a matrix team Track record of multi-tasking, organizational skills and attention to detail in a high-volume environment Budget management At Eaton, we strive to provide compensation and benefits that attract, engage, and retain the best talent.
