The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing effective marketing communications and public relations activities, which consistently drive sales, increase awareness among health care professionals and patients, and increase brand equity for Elekta radiotherapy and neurosurgery solutions.

The Marketing Communications Manager will deliver marketing campaigns that clearly convey relevant and compelling benefits of high tech products and features, and will manage projects from planning to execution.

The Marketing Communications Manager will work closely with various functions across the organization, including global product marketing, global marketing communications, regional marketing and BU sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Marketing Communication budget and spending for the Region and develop annual communications plan and contribute to annual marketing plan
  • Develop and execute compelling promotional campaigns (including digital marketing, webinar and PR activities) that drive marketing and communications objectives
  • Organize conferences, seminars and user meetings, and provide event planning and coordination support in local seminar/workshops at different locations in the Region
  • Explore and develop communications channel to raise patient awareness (such as patient group, doctors association, healthcare related media)
  • Manage updates for sales team regarding new marketing materials, such as product marketing collaterals, videos, presentations slides, etc.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in our marketing messaging, design and branding implemented in all communications materials through different channels and media
  • Ensure all marketing communications activities comply with the policies and best practices, and are aligned with global and regional initiatives
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, in particular professional societies at the local and regional level to support all related activities
  • Manage vendor relationships to support all related activities
  • Ensure appropriate approval process is followed for marketing materials development and work with reviewers to ensure approvals are obtained in a timely manner
  • Establish metrics to track measurable and quantitative performance for evaluation and improvement

Experience & Knowledge

  • Thorough experience in Marketing Communications (at least 5-7 years); prior experience and familiarity with all facets of marketing communications
  • Experience with healthcare and technology marketing and communications
  • Excellent English skills, in speech and writing
  • Strong and creative writing, editorial and proofreading skills
  • Strong project management skills; track record of delivering projects on time and under budget
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite, Marketo, Salesforce, Webex, Illustrator and or InDesign
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and up to date marketing tools in healthcare highly desirable
  • Experience in or affinity with an international environment
  • Experience with digital marketing (e.g. Marketing automation, search engine optimization, etc) and service marketing a plus.
