Position Title: Marketing Communications Specialist Location: USA SCOPE OF POSITION: This key role acts as the “megaphone” for our North American Building Products Automation business, enhancing our reputation and achieving measurable outcomes by driving awareness, perception, and preference. As a member of the Smart Infrastructure Communications Building Products team, this individual contributor partners with the Building Products marketing team to be creative in promoting our story and value around smart buildings; healthy and productive workplaces and energy efficiency -- executing a communications strategy in a compelling way to make an impact and measuring results across the full communications mix. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following and other duties may be assigned: Digital Channel Management: partner with marketing leaders to develop and execute campaigns across multiple digital channels (product and/or account-based campaign) • Website / Landing Pages SEO Paid Search Advertising Strategy Media partnerships Organic social media External thought leadership and content programming: collaborate with marketing to design and execute a marcom strategy that influences external audiences including end users and channel partners. Develop annual strategic communication plan with Marketing Work with Media Relations, position leaders in thought leadership roles (speaking engagements, interviews, panels, etc) that support the Building Products business Implement and manage various communication channels that help drive marketing and communication objectives as part of the complete communication program. (Elements can include, but not limited to, social media, digital communications, tradeshows, advertising, public relations, events, promotions, direct mail, brochures, website, audio-visual products, internal blogs, etc.) Create, publish and promote customer success stories, projects, products and innovations across multiple channels Internal marketing and communications strategy and execution: Collaborate with internal communications on plans that engage and inform internal/external audiences, promoting automation business messaging and internal education: Alignment with other business unit communications functions to include building products portfolio in broader Siemens programs • Yammer Group management Sales enablement tools Newsletters Event and tradeshow program management Overall project management of tradeshows & events Budget alignment, management • Monthly metrics reporting Restricted SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty at a consistently high-quality level.
