Marketing Coordinator
As a Marketing & Design Co-ordinator you will work with the Sales & Marketing team to help contribute towards promoting and selling Fairmont St. Andrews.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will maintain the day to day requirements of the PR & Marketing department, managing our digital/online reputation through monitoring and responding to all guest reviews on social media, OTA’s via the TrustYou platform.

What you will be doing:
- Supporting the corporate social responsibility and community engagement of the hotel, manage and respond to all donation requests, whilst conforming to brand parameters.
- Liaise and assist the sustainability team with communications support.
- Conduct weekly hotel collateral checks by liaising with departmental teams and produce weekly report.
- Maintain a current and accurate photo library.
- Monitor and update any necessary changes to third party partnership platforms.
- Support the Marketing & Design Executive in producing social media content and select the proper imagery for day-to-day content and larger initiatives whilst ensuring social media calendar is up to date.
- Work with the Marketing & Design Executive to create custom content.
- Monitor social channels for trending news, ideas and influencers.
- Assist with internal communications of all promotion initiatives across all departments to keep all colleagues aware of current activity.
- Build media database of contacts of travel, spa, hotel, food & beverage and conference journalists.
- Actively monitor all PR coverage for hotel throughout the year.
- Continually develop and maintain a stock of accurate, informative and creative ad-hoc press kits.
- Assist with stock management and ordering.
- Other duties as assigned including but not limited to marketing admin, presentations, sales team research with weekly reporting
Your experience and skills include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills.
- Previous experience within Social Media/Content Creation preferred but not essential
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline essential
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Positive attitude and supportive, team-based approach towards the attainment of the hotel’s short- and long-term goals
- Some professional photography skills would be desirable
Your team and working environment:
- Working a fast paced team environment
- Shifts will be during the day, evening and weekend
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining UK work authorization
