1. Job Summary


As the regional marketing specialist for Lilly China, you will assist Sr. Regional Marketing Manager and other team members in delivering one of Lilly China’s top affiliate priorities: to design and deliver the best scientific and professional medical customer programs in the industry, responsible for regional programs and TL development. This role will directly report to Sr. Regional Marketing Manager and liaise with brand team and sales forces currently promoting products.

2. Key Responsibilities

Co-ownership of key speakers within region (with SF)


? Primary ownership of key speakers’ speaking relationship within designated geography.

? Identification, development, management and coaching of regional speakers.

? Reinforcement of speaker compliance with speakers and sales force.

? Implement regional speaker training

? Speaker certification; triages issues with certification

? Track and report utilization of speakers, program quarterly update (activity, outcome and expense).

? Track and follow-up regional speaker payment, and report to promotional core team.


Take leadership at field to maximize implementation of field and brand driven Peer-to-Peer (P2P) programs


? Work closely with Sr. regional marketing manager, brand team, field SF, and other cross functional team(medical, compliance, finance, procurement) to ensure lilly P2P program roll out efficiently , regionally

? Identify field P2P programming needs and provide input to promotional program manager for annual program operation plan development.

? Translate annual P2P programming strategy into regional operational plan with detailed customer segmentation, P2P content, scope and budget

? Implement regional P2P program with high quality and integrity with regard to speaker effectiveness, programming effectiveness, adherence to compliance policy

Develop regional market analysis to assist SF and brand team to timely and deeply understand regional market

? Untilize database such as IMS, CPA to analyze regional market and provide market insight

? Report regional marketing analysis to SF and brand team to support business decision

? Develop the customized regional program plan and corresponding action plan based on analysis result

Ensure that outsource suppliers are aware of and comply with all relevant Lilly global and local compliance requirements.

Marketing Channel Mix Based on insights into customer communication preferences and objectives, develop a mix of activities that will engage customers, can potentially support improved patient outcomes, is consistent with the Lilly brand and Lilly global and local compliance requirements, and represents optimal use of human and financial resources to achieve key player objective Translate marketing strategy into regional program tactics by clearly identify regional marketing situation and customer needs.


Key Player Communications Determine the purpose of each communication (create, change or reinforce attitudes and beliefs to achieve the key player objective). Based on that objective and deep customer insights develop or manage development of an engaging and relevant message that includes a need, benefit, and supporting evidence. Tailor promotional messages to segmented customers in various channels.

Communicate the result, feedback to stakeholders professionally.


Marketing Message Utilization and Reinforcement Using process teach the Sales Force team how to tailor their dialogue in selling situations or with specific provider segment or payer customers. Constructively coach speakers, effectively deliver messages and handle objection appropriately. Influence key cross functional partners without formal authority.


4. Requirements:

Essential:

? 3-5 years related working experience in Pharmaceutical marketing or sale

? Bachelor Degree and above and major in medical or pharmacy

? Good pharmaceutical marketing knowledge, business sense and analytical skills

? Familiar with pharmaceutical industry

? Program implementation and management experience preferred

? Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skill

? Attention to details, accountability and good implementation and follow up ability

? Good learning agility Well traveled with regional exposure

? Good computer skills in Microsoft office

Desirable:

? Fluent in spoken and written English

? Marketing related working experience
