About The Role

The Marketing Director is responsible for driving the success of Language Weaver in the marketplace. They will be an inspiring leader, a creative with great vision and expertise in their field, whilst building a marketing strategy that drives innovation and growth.

Responsibilities
* Develop, establish, and maintain the high-level demand generation strategy to meet the business objectives.
* Build lead generation strategies that deliver quality sales leads across all channels.
o Measure and analyse data to increase channel engagement and generate more inbounds.
o Create lead nurturing programmes that increase conversion.
o Proactively find and test new segments and new channels to increased MQLs.
o Improve the quality of the MQLs – as measured by their conversion into SALs, SQLs.
* Craft integrated omnichannel marketing tactics, including website, email, events, organic and paid social media, advertising and syndication.
* Create targeted upsell and cross-sell campaigns plus account-based marketing programs to grow existing relationships.
* Manage and nurture marketing team to fulfil business unit goals.
* Manage all Language Weaver content on languageweaver.com, rws.com trados.com, liaising with key website stakeholders as appropriate.
* Manage and report on the marketing budget.
* KPIs and reporting - own reporting and weekly analytics to share a single source of truth with business stakeholders.
* Continually monitor key performance metrics; provide meaningful insights that “get to the why” and lead to action.
* Grow the marketable database of Language Weaver contacts.
* Establish strong, effective relationships with the Sales and Business Consultancy (Pre-Sales) and ensure that the right sales content assets are being prioritised and delivered.
* Establish, run, and manage the marketing activity calendar.
* Put in place key marketing processes, liaising with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing.
* Work closely with the central Events team to run a program of brand awareness and lead generation events. When the event is not managed by the central team, drive and manage the correct resourcing of that event.
* Develop relationships with key industry and vertical influencer publications – beyond Localisation.
* Create marketing collateral, website, blogs, social media, press releases, articles, presentations, events, and conferences.
* Build relationships with external agencies.

Required skills
* An expert in lead generation and campaign marketing, with a proven track record of managing global programs.

* Big picture thinking with meticulous attention to detail; understand the overall business and marketing strategy, translate that into a demand strategy and guide the execution.
* Successful track record in senior marketing role.
* Experience of managing a marketing team.
* A high bar for quality of marketing programs and a willingness to work closely with team members to develop skills and mentor high-potential individuals.
* Naturally collaborative, with a dedication to putting business needs first.
* Fuelled by the desire for results and growth.
* Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects - delivering results on time and in budget.
* Able to drive initiatives through and resolve obstacles/blockers effectively.
* A practical approach – does what it takes to get the job done.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to think both creatively and commercially.
* Happy to work at both strategic and operational levels.
* A self-starter that is comfortable taking full ownership and responsibility of projects and processes.
* Experience working closely with a sales organization with a strong affinity for success.
* Proven track record of challenging the status quo and introducing and championing pioneering approaches to marketing.
