Job Description
Role Summary:
Plan, coordinate and manage all marketing elements for the responsible customer segments including market understanding, marketing plan development, formulating a targeted value proposition and tailoring the marketing mix for the segment. Create and implement marketing strategies for the responsible brands.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Support the overall strategy development for the PDx business, working with a team of direct and indirect reports as well as the PDx organization
  • Support ideation and capture of internal/external inputs, collate and prioritise as appropriate- proactively bring forth recommendations on new strategic ventures
  • Support operating mechanism and forum for assorted strategic resources across the PDx business
  • Coordinate market intelligence and competitor data in support of developing new strategies
  • Lead specific project or functional based strategic deep dive initiatives- coordinate and commission efforts of external vendors
  • Facilitate and coordinate strategic forums with internal SMEs as well as developing a network of external KOLs
  • Support of business case generation for new strategic ventures
  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing competitor activities and strategy- establish and own key communication mechanisms on strategic data
  • Support key BD activities linked to strategy development

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. 8+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Prior experience in a leadership role with direct reports (may not be required in all cases)
4. Leadership skills to lead and/or influence teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
5. Excellent oral and written communications skills
6. Ability to motivate and lead a team of reports
7. Strong analytical and process skills

Desired Characteristics:
1. MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
2. 10+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing or related field
3. Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
4. Healthcare product/industry acumen
5. Experience in (enter segment or care area here)
6. Experience managing a global brand
7. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
8. Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
9. Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
