Position Overview: Siemens Digital Industries Process Automation is looking for a dynamic marketing manager to drive the development and implementation of marketing programs to grow sales and brand awareness. Process Automation is a growing and diverse business that delivers solutions, products, and services to customers in markets such as Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Water & Wastewater, and Oil & Gas. The Marketing Director will perform a critical role in elevating our messaging beyond individual product lines to communicate the best-in-class solutions and digitalization offerings available from Siemens Process Automation. In addition, the role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and optimizing our overall marketing approach. The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrated success leading Marketing organizations, is an excellent communicator, and enjoys staying abreast of the latest tools and techniques within the marketing space. The Marketing Director will report directly to the Head of Process Automation Business Unit (Siemens Digital Industries) in the United States and will ultimately manage a team that develops Business Unit level marketing initiatives and programs. In addition to driving marketing activities to support growth, this role will help define the future market setup within the Business Unit. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop and execute cross-business and vertical marketing campaigns in coordination with Business Segments and Vertical Market Teams Drive strategic marketing program and activities for Process Automation Business, including intent based marketing and social selling approaches Leverage current marketing trends and tools and determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies Build out Business Unit marketing capabilities to better address changing customer expectations and optimize use of existing resources Work with Sales and Segment marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns to attract new customers and maintain current customers Analyze marketing spend and returns to optimize marketing budget Research competitors to support competitive positioning and messaging Leverage and adopt global marketing campaigns for US market Develop internal and external communications campaigns and materials for the US Process Automation Business using a variety of media Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience: BA or BS degree 8-10 years of marketing experience including progressive management responsibilities Track record of innovation and creativity to create programs and messaging that attract customers and succeed over the competition Demonstrated success with advanced marketing strategies, including internet marketing campaigns, demand generation, intent-based marketing, SEO, etc. Proficient with analysis including return-on-investment calculations Ability to influence and deliver results in a matrixed global organization Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Time management and organization to meet strict deadlines Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them Where permitted by applicable law, Siemens may require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 based on job requirements, and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons. #LI-VM1 Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry, Inc.
