Position Summary:

 

As a key member of the Product Marketing Team, you will manage all marketing related to the iTwin Platform, and execute a marketing strategy to enable sales to achieve new business growth targets, including the onboarding of new independent software vendors (ISVs). The iTwin Platform is a collection of APIs and cloud services for building digital twin applications for infrastructure assets. This platform-as-a-service (PaaS) is used by ISVs, integrators, engineering firms, and infrastructure owner-operators to accelerate application development by solving challenges such as data integration, visualization, change tracking, security and more.

 

Whether you are pitching the iTwin Platform to existing clients with extensive technical know-how or speaking to a new prospect that is planning to create new business models for their clients, you need to emphasize the advantages to their businesses and to end users. You need to be an excellent storyteller with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, compelling, and memorable stories. Additionally, as a pivotal member of the team and iTwin Platform evangelist, you will work closely to develop positive relationships with many other roles in the Marketing and Pre-sales teams, as well as Sales, Services, Product Development and Executive Management teams. 

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including product management and development teams, sales, user success, and regional marketing.
  • Gather and analyze market data (users, prospects, competitors).
  • Develop clear and compelling value propositions that address needs and describe how the PaaS will drive significantly better outcomes for platform users.
  • Define and execute the iTwins go-to-market plan and report on the marketing key results:
    • Create awareness using messaging and content with press and analysts.
    • Coordinate marketing projects from beginning to end including creating and managing paid social, email nurturing, and advertising campaigns.
  • Evangelize the message both internally and externally per target (buyer/decision) persona demonstrating story-telling abilities that can make the complex simple, and invoke both empathy and excitement. 
  • Understand product strategies, the specification of new product offerings and ensuring all PaaS information and content is updated.
  • Create compelling content—including video—that aligns to the (buyer/decision) journey. 
  • Work across marketing organization, as well as sales, customer success teams, and product teams to ensure campaigns and new releases are launched effectively and on-time.
  • Launch new product or solution offerings, providing the market-ready content for effective campaign execution.
  • Ensure all aspects of business are on brand, consistent, focused on customer outcomes, and employ best marketing practices.
  • Benchmark against internal growth goals and trend lines; and maintain competitive fact base including competitor successes, product offerings, positioning, price structure, how to sell against, etc.
  • Assist case study development to showcase PaaS success stories.
  • Support enhancements to web pages, online forms, program materials.
  • Interact with third parties for co-marketing opportunities and promotional events.

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

  • Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) marketing a must.
  • 7+ years of software Marketing or Sales Experience a must.
  • Experience creating impactful video content.
  • Related degree in Marketing / Engineering field or 5+ years working in a position that requires AEC marketing domain knowledge, MBA an asset.
  • Strong English writing and communications skills required.
  • Strong English presentation preparation skills required.
  • Strong B-to-B experience and skills.
  • Must be computer savvy, can multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure in a team environment.
  • Travel 10-25% - post covid.
