Responsibilities may be quite diverse and are exempt nontechnical in nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short time periods during breaks from school.

You will have the opportunity to join the Network and Edge Group's (NEX) Switch and Fabric Group's (XFG) Marketing and Technology Planning team as a Marketing Graduate Intern. On this assignment, you will perform market research and analysis to evaluate technology trends and market opportunities for Intel ® Intelligent Fabric Processors (Intel® IFPs).  You will get the opportunity to perform extensive market research, interact with leading industry analyst firms, and make recommendations to XFG marketing and product planning staff.  Interact with great minds at Intel to develop and validate your assessments in interpreting industry market data.

At the conclusion of the internship, you will get the opportunity to present your findings and make marketing promotion recommendations for how Intel can further our leadership position in our targeted market segments.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing Master or PhD degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

6+ months of experience in some of the following areas:

• Market research and analytics

• Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point

Preferred Qualifications:

6+ months of experience in some of the following areas:

• Networking Industry such as Ethernet, switches, routers, IPUs

• Understanding of Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Communications Service Provider (CoSP), High Performance Computing (HPC) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) market players and ecosystems

• Familiar with P4 programming language
