As a HF/Brilique Marketing Lead you will report directly to the Business Unit Director. You will be responsible of leading the TA strategy regarding the global strategy direction, managing your team to optimize the product life cycle, and to offer patients a better life quality.

Responsibilities

1. Team Development and Management

  • Establish the team vision and mission to ensure alignment with AZ’s strategy, goals and values.
  • Ensure the correct training of the Product Managers in order to generate high-impact  strategic plans.
  • Participate in improving your team’s performance, managing the available tools (performance assessment, coaching, feedback, talent management, identify training needs…)
  • Support the team’s development, focusing on consolidating their strengths and enhancing their areas of improvement and promoting adequate motivation and environment.

2. Strategic Planning

  • Establish guidelines for the therapeutic area strategy, also the Brand Plans under your responsibility.
  • Monitor and value product strategy and sales forecast, ensuring the alignment with the global strategy and local insights.
  • Lead the cross-functional Brand Team, in this case, to design the Brand Plan and its implementation.
  • Ensure integration into strategy within the environment cases, regarding the competence, to achieve the leadership of brands under their responsibility in the reference markets.
  • Propose customer segmentation strategy and criteria, and ensure that they respond to market insights, and brand objectives.
  • Oversee the sales and investment budgets of the products under your responsibility, monitoring if necessary for the deviations control.
  • Set sales budget for the TA new products (if there were not responsible Product Manager).
  • Lead the LRP (Long Range Planning) process for products and directions under your responsibility.
  • Be responsible for the Brand Review with both European and Global teams, acting as a contact person for these teams at international level.

3. Implementation

  • Oversee the preparation of the Brand Plans and control, together with the Brand Team, their correct implementation at the national level.
  • Monitor the correct communication and elaboration of strategic product information by Product Managers, for the sales training program.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources in your area, analyzing budget deviations, and putting appropriate measures if necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Market Access and Medical Affairs areas that the different actions are aligned with the strategy at the national and regional level.
  • Ensure that product stocks and production planning are monitored against sales made.
  • Identify business opportunities based on monitoring business activity and make proposals to the BU's Direction.

4. Customer Management

  • Be a KEE’s of national and international KEE's, as well as the societies of its TA.
  • Ensure proper customer segmentation and Call Plan strategy on all brand plans and seek synergies between the different brands of the TA.
  • Project AZ's image and corporate values in its relationship with internal and external partners.

5. Compliance

  • Guarantee that all work-related activities comply with applicable external and internal regulations (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines and code of conduct).

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Academic: Bachelors Degree.
  • Languages: Full English and Spanish competence (fluent in both languages).
  • Advanced level in managing Office software.
  • Experience: At least 6 years in Pharmaceutical Industry with ethical products in different roles:
  • Similar position in AZ or other company during 1 year and/or Marketing Manager or Brand Lead Global or Regional during 2 years. Alternatively, other Senior Brand Manager profiles could be consider if they have a consolidate experience in team management during at least 2 years.
    • Therapeutic Area knowledge.
    • Sales and/or KAM experience

  • Specialist academic background in Health Sciences.
  • Marketing o MBA master degree.
