Job Description
- Responsibility:
- Manages all regional automotive product line or portfolio, from driving new product development to marketing and sales.
- Responsible for design-win projects/products for China automotive segment.
- Responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and gross (or standard) margin targets.
- Develop Business Plan (Achieve cross-functional alignment to the plan) Work cross functionally to achieve sales, technology and operations strategies and goals.
- Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking. Provide materials to support the go to market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy and partnerships .
- Work with R&D and operations in the development of new products to meet current and future customer requirements. Manage the product lifecycle by providing product trend analysis to the lead PM(s)
- Provide fundamental application & product training to customers/distributors, Support & align with HQ(Japan) on China automotive segment related topics
- Customers type: Tier1,2 & OEM in-house system manufacturers
- Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering or business commercial or sales marketing. At least 3 years’ experience in automotive industry.
- Ability to influence, good planning / coordination / communication and problem solving skills.
- Self-driven personality, team spirit is an essential requirement
- Ability to work independently under pressure.
- Business development experience is highly preferable
- Frequent domestic business travel & customer oriented thinking is required;
- Good command of both written and spoken English is a must. Japanese will be preferable;
