Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

l Provide valuable market insights regarding the industry and develop effective marketing strategy;

l Plan and execute effective marketing approaches to support business activities and business goal achievement;

l Lead the team members to collaborate with other functions as One Team and maximize the value of marketing function.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support China CAG business target achievement through Marketing Position/Strategy, Product/Solution, training and campaign management;

  • Drive annual strategic plan together with other functions to ensure annual business goal realization;

  • Lead the Marketing Team to provide Solution Support, Pre-Sales Support, Market Analysis and comprehensive Product/Business Strategy setup and implementation;

  • Work closely with International and China team to develop Business Strategies and define key messages to targeted customer segmentation;

  • Coordinate and localize NPI (new product introduction) process along with global team;

  • Provide meaningful market insight to the business team and international marketing team to support business decision and long-term strategic business development plan through analyzing and tracking customer needs/behavior, market trends, government policy and competition dynamic;

  • Keep close communication and interaction with industry associations, KOLs, policy stakeholders and reference site customers, develop thought leadership programs and advisory programs to strengthen IDEXX leading position and influential power;

  • Lead to develop diversified marketing and sales tools to support business development, such as brochure, video, leaflet, customer stories etc.;

  • Develop and manage the functional budget, operating policies and procedures;

  • Lead the team to deliver the functional goals by coaching, engaging, inspiring and developing them.

  • Other tasks assigned by business head or company key competences.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strategic thinking with good analytic skills;

  • Strong learning agility which can bring professional insights with business acumen;

  • Well command of persuasive skills to get buy-in and alignment;

  • Strong business experience, solid marketing knowledge and skills;

  • Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing;

  • Good presentation and influential skills;

  • Good communication skill and open-minded;

  • Innovative, strong accountability and initiative;

  • Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
