Job Description
Eaton’s Eletrical division is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is based in Vallejo The Marketing Manager will be responsible of the profitable growth of the Mexico & Latam Business in terms of Sales, Profit, Pricing & Vitality Growth (New Products Development and Introduction). This position needs to execute strategies VOC´s to identify Product Gaps & elaborate a Competitors Roadmap and drive projects to refine Arrow Hart & Royer Mexican portfolio. Key activities will include development & coordination of New Products, Growth Projects, Promotions, Communication, Sales Tools and collaterals to ensure sales growth. Overall, the holder of the position must be capable to coordinate the strategic direction and strong Marketing Plans & Business Cases which should be aligned to the business strategy and profit plan. This position is also responsible of: Accountable and responsible of pushing sales growth for their specific Product Lines between all the departments through Spec, Trainings, Inventory, Quote response, VA/VE and Cost-Out projects ($40 M USD 2021) Lead New Product Developments & On-Time launchings through EATON´s PROLAUNCH methodology (0.8 M USD 2021) Defines strategic Pricing policies that allows the PL to remain in a competitive position while keeping the product line profitable. Monitors & tracks competitors pricing level & strategy ($1.9 M USD = 5% PR 2021) Builds Product Roadmaps and coordinates product development/upgrades based on VOC/VOB ensuring that an innovation pipeline and value product proposition is maintained and enhanced Develops and coordinates the 3-year annual Strategic Marketing plan for the specific product(s) lines through solid business cases to ensure a profitable long term sales growth of the company Develops sales tools, promotions and technical information needed for the correct product specification while coordinating successfully the launching & execution with our MARCOM and Sales team Manage, coordinate and develop the 5 members of marketing team (Marcom, Pricing, Product, Projects) Travel & Execute VOC´s to identify Product Gaps & elaborate a full Project Deck to refine EATON´s RWDD portfolio #LI-AP01 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, Engineering or Marketing professional oriented to commercial business Master´s or MBA degree (preferred) +5 years related experience in marketing, sales, or product management within the electrical and/or industrial market Knowledge on Marketing Plans, New Products Development, Project management, Strategic Pricing, Business Cases and Competitors Analysis Well financial understanding of profit margins, markup, P&L, return over investment (ROI) Advanced level of Office software: Word, Outlook, Project, Powerpoint & Excel (essential) Operational level knowledge on SAP system or similar ERP system (desirable, not a must) Fluent in Spanish & English (essential) Availability to travel locally & internationally What you will get from us Eaton’s mission is to improve the quality of life and the environment through the use of power management technologies and services.
