Job Description
Eaton is looking for a Marketing Manager at our Porto Feliz to join our team. She/He will be responsible for: Develop, plan, manage, and control Power Systems division Product line programs and tactical activities in Brazil focus on Electrical Utilities markets as well as leverage the support to export sales through sister organizations in LATAM and other regions outside Americas. This position holds the responsibilities of managing a group of professionals focus on quotations, new product development (NPD), new product introduction (NPI) and product line management aiming to provide best product fit to market, strong brand recognition through transmission of value proposition, superior profitability through robust pricing strategies and highest customer service levels defining best go to market approach in the selected market segments. Job Responsibilities Organize and lead the strategic planning process for the region. Ensure the process is well communicated and incorporates input from various stakeholders (MAE’s, IM’s, GSF, Reps, Channel partners, suppliers, Division staff, etc…) and follows the defined process outlined in EBS. Develop timely market research and analysis to build credibility around the strategic plan conclusion; Lead the team through the execution of strategic initiatives achieving the sales and growth targets stablished in annual profit plan; Work directly with regional product line managers to drive the product development function to ensure that new and/or enhanced product initiatives are in line with the strategic plan and regional marketing intelligence. This would include active engagement with the ProLaunch process and annual product road mapping sessions; Monitor sales, marketing performance and implement corrective actions to achieve the goals of the operating annual Profit Plan; Tracks and analyze local competition environment to support overall next step action plans aiming to position the company as number 1 player on the focus markets. Visit customers to identify opportunities (VOC) to guide the strategy plans Creates relationship and good level of communication with sister organizations and sourcing plants aiming to participate in the overall product Roadmap and act as facilitator along the sales and operational activities. An official supporting document is mandatory for hiring. #LI-MG3 Qualifications Experience required for the position: Bachelors degree Marketing, Engineering or related field; MBA Desired; Minimum of 10 years Sales or Marketing experience in a large industrial companies required; Minimum of 5 years Management Team experience; Advanced English; Desirable Spanish.
