Clean Energy Associates is seeking a motivated, well-rounded marketing professional to manage the company’s marketing initiatives worldwide, with a focus on marketing communications (developing messaging and implantation across web, social, print, presentations, sponsorships and trade shows). As a Marketing Manager, you will lead CEA’s efforts in brand awareness, marketing communications, trade show participation, promotional campaigns, department planning, and etc. This position offers unique exposure to the marketing function of a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial global company. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about the solar PV industry through working closely with a multicultural team of industry experts.
Overall, your role is to raise market awareness of CEA’s services and capabilities and build CEA’s brand recognition so that potential clients understand what we do, the value we bring them and what makes CEA the provider of choice. We want your work to motivate potential customers to come to CEA for these services.
Because your direct supervisor may be based in the United States, you must be able to operate comfortably without day-to-day local management.
You’ll support the leadership team to execute marketing initiatives that support the growth of the company, including:
1. Maintain and create new collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations) that communicates what CEA offers, in both print and digital format; Proofing collateral inventory frequently and take extraordinary steps to ensure that collateral has no typos and has appropriate use of language and grammar. You will design and then produce the collateral (and you might collaborate with a graphic designer as well as printing companies, graphic production and display companies). You will be a champion of CEA’s brand recognition, including strengthening CEA’s “look and feel” and ensuring the overall CEA organization is armed with branding tools (templates, graphic files, usage guidelines, etc.).
2. Support the commercial team with creating client-specific and customized collateral on an as-needed basis; Serve as the bridge across sales, technology and quality, and project operations teams for collection of key figures, insights and data, and present them in a format that is concise and consistent with CEA brand image.
3. Strategize and coordinate CEA's participation in trade shows and events – including identifying/selecting high value trade shows, managing internal logistics for team participation, and liaison with show organizers and third-party vendors for booth preparation, merchandize and collateral design and production.
4. Support CEA’s strategic marketing programs, including competitor analysis, market requirements, demand analysis, lead capture and lead nurturing campaigns.
5. Maintain CEA’s online presence through updating the website and drafting social media and email campaigns, as well as supporting advertising opportunities.
6. Manage the administration of Marketing Department activities, including managing marketing budget, maintaining spending within approved AOP, processing payment, and developing more user-friendly system for online marketing material folder. From time to time, this might include mentorship and coaching of marketing interns.
