Job Description

Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. This position is REMOTE based in Southern Florida.  

 

 

Position Overview:

The regional marketing manager (RMM) is fundamentally responsible for developing and executing business strategies part of strategic plan that will support sustainable growth, market share gain and differentiated value proposition for our customers.

RMM is responsible for the portfolio management of the Eaton electrical products and services guaranteeing best product fit to local market, strong brand recognition through transmission of value proposition, superior profitability through robust pricing strategies and highest customer service levels defining best go to market approach in the selected market segments.

Additionally, the position is responsible for assisting the BUM and division marketing director with researching, analyzing and investigating future potential business development opportunities; including product localization, NPD, partnerships in support of the strategic plans and in alignment with overall division strategy. Also, the RMM will be responsible for creating and deploying One Eaton channel program in the region for maximizing share of wallet opportunity.

Working with regional sales leader to develop tactical plans that targets growth in existing and new business opportunities, providing support and resources to sales teams to identify and close deals.

Managing marketing resources to achieve planed results, within assigned budget.

In this function you will:

  • Organize and lead the strategic planning process for the region. Ensure the process is well communicated and incorporates input from various stakeholders (Reps, Channel partners, suppliers, Division staff, etc…) and follows the defined process outlined in EBS. Develop timely market research and analysis to build credibility around the strategic plan conclusions. Responsibilities also includes the creation of a final strategic plan documents in concert with the regional sales and BUM, providing ongoing assistance to develop an internal communication and deployment plan.
    ▪ Lead the team through the execution of strategic initiatives achieving the sales and growth targets stablished in annual profit plan.
    ▪ Work directly with regional product line managers to drive the product development function to ensure that new and/or enhanced product initiatives are in line with the strategic plan and regional marketing intelligence. This would include active engagement with the ProLaunch process and annual product road mapping sessions.
    ▪ Drive best product portfolio life cycle management to the region:
    i.    Through local market inputs develops best product portfolio that fits to local market 
    ii.    Properly articulate solutions for product gaps in the regional portfolio with key stakeholders at Eaton by presenting executive business cases
    iii.    Develops product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest profitability
    iv.    Continuously manage product vitality by executing discontinuation of low volume/ less profitable product lines and introduction of new high volume / higher margin product lines 
    v.    Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
    vi.    Establishes and execute under stablished budget communication strategies to generate demand for products. 
    vii.    Develop sales tools to support sales teams and channels close deals.
  • Lead CRR annual process in close collaboration with sales teams to ensure customer feedback is at the core of our business strategy and action plans to improve customer experience is set and executed.
    ▪ Support sales organization and channel partners to achieve success in securing orders by creating proper incentive and support programs. Drive continuous improvement in the appropriate product training, marketing collateral, promotional programs, etc.
    ▪ Provide guidance to the marketing team members in order to achieve the regional goals within corporate rules and best practices.
    ▪ Monitor sales, marketing performance and implement corrective actions to achieve the goals of the operating annual Profit Plan.
    ▪ Monitor the marketing promotion campaigns to assure compliance to period and budget of products launching and advertisings.
    ▪ Monitor product flow to the market trough adequate channels and implement corrective actions in order to assure matching of marketing policies and product mix to local market requirements.
    ▪ Approve and follow up training plans to assure continuous improvement and career path to employees.
    ▪ Attend professional and organizations meetings to influence local codes and regulations to our standards and specifications.
    ▪ Counteract with peers to the position at the Corporation level to assure timely flow of market and products information, new technologies and best practices.
    ▪ To comply with the responsibilities of the position in relation with Safety and Health, Lean as well as SAA (Environmental Administration) and SGC (Quality System)

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 7 years Sales or Marketing experience working in an industrial company
  • Minimum of 5 years Team Management  experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
