Entertainment One’s Family & Brands Division is now gearing up for the launch of its newest property, Ricky Zoom, a brand new animated pre-school TV series from the producers of PJ Masks.

Position Summary

This role will support the VP, Marketing China with the implementation and roll-out of marketing plans and strategies for eOne Family and Brands across China. The role will focus on developing and executing brand marketing initiatives for assigned brands and ensure that consumer and brand activity communications are co-ordinated to a high standard. In addition, the role will focus on ensuring the creative development, brand planning, marketing, approvals, and general marketing activations are completed and delivered as required and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with VP, Marketing in the development, implementation and planning of clear marketing plans and activations across China.
  • With the support of VP, Marketing, drive the execution of the marketing plans at consumer and trade level, spanning events, promotions, charity partnerships, experiential activities including characters appearances, media advertising, digital, social media, TV support and PR and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities.
  • Responsible for managing on a day-to-day basis China Marketing activities for the assigned brands.
  • Work with broadcasting partners to design and implement regular content promotional activities.
  • Brief, create and disseminate brand and marketing assets and materials for all channels. With the support of VP, Marketing, develop and localise asset packs for China market if needed.
  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to the brand templates and standards as set out by Global Brand Teams.
  • Work with agencies to develop digital and social media plan and manage implementation with monthly rolling calendars.
  • Undertake competitive marketing research regularly and work closely with research team to identify new opportunities and present findings to the wider commercial teams.
  • Communicate regularly to the wider team on brand plans, creative updates and marketing initiatives, sharing and championing best practise.
  • Support VP, Marketing China with budget process and ensure day to day processing of PO’s, invoices, and tracking is taking place.

Key Competencies

  • Previous professional marketing experience, preferably within in the licensing/entertainment industry.
  • Ability to communicate well and get things done in a pro-active manner.
  • Strong project manager, with ability to juggle several priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Resourceful with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills and knowledge of computer packages, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Results driven while maintaining a high level of creativity.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills.
  • A team player, ability to work collaboratively across the wider business teams.
  • ‘Muck in approach’ to wider divisional needs.
