Job Description
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, 3 years in developer or community marketing.
  • Proven success managing complex and multi-faceted, measurable with a demonstrated ability to drive marketing programs to ROI metrics
  • Experience in building and enabling effective community engagement programs.
  • Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in scalable online programs and campaigns, from planning to executive and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin

AWS HKT Marketing team is seeking a talented, experienced, self-directed Marketing Manager to join an energetic marketing organization that is responsible for driving the development and adoption of the AWS platform by developers and startups in Hong Kong and Taiwan. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing marketing campaigns, programs and events that help developers and startups become successful using AWS services. This includes developing digital & online campaigns, formulate programs and events where developers and startups learn about all the tools necessary to build modern cloud-based architectures.

Ideally, you are someone that has experience building campaigns and programs that foster deep, meaningful adoption of technology. You have an innate understanding for developers and startups, how they make decisions to use technology. You also have a track record of building successful, metrics driven, scalable, customer centric marketing programs. The right candidate has strong communication and project management skills and is comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the go-to-market approach by working with the marketing team to develop and execute HKT awareness programs and lead-gen campaigns, spanning online and in person events.
  • Build and execute strong marketing plans to launch new products, drive awareness of our services and usage of the AWS platform through Startups and Developers focused activities
  • Craft compelling audience-specific messages and content (videos, customer success stories, demos, presentations, etc.) to fuel our digital marketing engine.
  • Work closely with AWS service teams, account management/ business development, PR and evangelists to help ensure the AWS message is reaching a broad audience of partners via events, seminars, webinars and other thought activities
  • Use all AWS tools available to run effective and relevant reporting to measure success.
  • Engage with meet ups and user groups in the region to understand AWS developer and startup audiences
  • Build startup customer reference and be a key point of contact for startup customers
