Marketing Manager - Digital and e-Commerce

Responsible for implementing marketing communications strategies and initiatives across digital marketing, social media and all key consumer segments that promote revenue growth, along with managing content creation and websites for Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown. This role will champion all aspects of authentically communicating the brand’s voice into industry-leading, customer-facing content for social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, followers and support marketing programs and initiatives.

What you will be doing: 
Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role will work closely with the property Revenue, Marketing and Public Relations team, as well as the Corporate marketing team to roll out and support new opportunities for the hotel.   
•    Lead the Marketing and Social Media direction for the hotel in driving increased awareness and revenue-generating initiatives
•    Analyze, interpret and communicate performance metrics to ensure business objectives are supported  
•    Develop content and strategies in the appropriate Social Media channels.  Organize campaigns and blogs, if appropriate, on such channels to drive growth and engagement
•    Develop strategic Influencer strategy, identifying and coordinating locals, regional and national influencer partnerships to amplify social awareness and cultivate strong UCG content program  
•    Initiate process of developing packages for the leisure market based on need periods and client needs
•    Maintain and update the hotel material on the Fairmont.com, fairmontdcmenus.com, restaurant website, Sellweb/Lanyon etc
•    Create and add content to brand.com/Washington to increase exposure and natural search capabilities through landing pages and updated content
•    Manage presence and relationships, offers, content and imagery through OTA sites such as Expedia, Booking.com etc 
•    Manage content, imagery, and offers on all platforms such as Cvent, ALHI etc
•    Maximize SEO/SEM presence with the objective of driving revenues through enhanced exposure 
•    Maximize pay per click programs when applicable, using control and test direct marketing tactics to drive efficiency
•    Coordinate email campaigns executed through Campaign team at Accor Corporate office
•    Ensure consistency in Brand Identity in information across all mediums (print materials, Internet, etc)
•    Oversee development of creatives such as ads, banners, posters, etc as needed via Adobe InDesign
•    Coordinate other departments’ marketing needs as necessary, such as e-mail marketing and Social Media for Outlets and Special Events
•    Attend Sales Meetings and Revenue meetings as appropriate
•    Provide monthly reporting summaries using Google Analytics, vendor reports, and property reporting systems
•    Track and measure results and report ongoing in meetings conducting ROI analyses and managing channel budgets

Your experience adn skills include:
•    Excellent working knowledge of hospitality sales, E-marketing channels, and social media required 
•    Proficiency working with various Microsoft Office applications:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•    Familiarity with Microsoft Content Management tool or other content management platforms
•    Excellent working knowledge of search engine optimization practices, Google Analytics and metrics
•    Familiarity with Adobe In-Design an asset
•    Video filming/editing and graphic design experience
•    Past experience purchasing online display advertising and coordination online campaigns
•    Excellent communication and organizational skills
•    Articulate, self motivated, energetic team player
•    Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
•    Basic html knowledge an asset

Must provide proof of eligibility to  legally work in the United States.
