Purpose of the Position:

• An e-commerce platform set up by SCMP Magazines that features beauty, fashion, gadgets and lifestyle products, supported by contents, product trials and advertising by SCMP Magazines’ media brands including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR, Esquire and ELLE Men.
• Ecommerce/merchandising specialist is required to develop the merchandising and partnership strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Source beauty, personal care, fashion or lifestyle product suppliers to form commerce partnerships
• Conduct market research and prepare report to assist Marketing Director to develop commerce strategies
• Prepare detailed partnership deals with various commerce partners, negotiate, sign up and review partnerships
• Handle the whole commerce merchandising logistics and act as coordinator between commerce partners and SCMP Magazines

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Marketing / Business Administration / Supply Chain Management or equivalent disciplines with minimum 6-8 years in merchandising and e-commerce experience
• Knowledge in both men’s and women’s lifestyle trend is a plus
• Sound knowledge and experience in ecommerce especially in sourcing beauty, personal care & lifestyle products, some experience in fashion and clothing would be preferred
• Strong analytical skills especially on measuring marketing effectiveness
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities; strong communication and negotiation skills, detail-oriented, self-initiative, highly productive, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Understanding of media, social media, fashion, beauty, and understanding of other luxurious and lifestyle industries a plus
• Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook) applications
• Good command of both written spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Marketing Manager (E-commerce)

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office
