Job Description

Our Global Beverages Innovation team focuses on the end-to-end innovation plans for our biggest global brands. The Sr. Marketing manager will act as a brand steward for our beverage business and will collaborate with both our internal cross-functional teams (Strategy, Consumer Insights, Design, R&D) and external partners (Agencies and Bottlers) to launch global platforms.

This role will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Accountabilities:

INNOVATION

  • Develop and manage the global beverage innovation strategy that focuses on new platforms, lift and shift opportunities and scalable solutions
  • In collaboration with global Insights and local markets, identify consumer needs and innovation jobs to be done for priority markets
  • Lead global development & testing of new product ideas; leverage existing testing conducted globally and/or locally – in close partnership with R&D, global & local Insights and innovation teams
  • Oversee the management of innovation launch plans from idea generation to commercialization in the regions via brand playbooks and media assets to drive consistent execution and portfolio growth
  • Deliver strong innovation launch plans through AOPs that meet both the consumer and business needs of the local markets

LEADERSHIP
  • Establishment of a collaborative relationship with the regions and cross-functional partners across the world
  • Manage monthly global meetings with the regions by setting the agenda, managing the presentation materials and ongoing project management of key initiatives
  • Ownership of the relationship with external agencies who can have a role to play in ensuring the initiative is set up for success

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Strong brand building experience in consumer products, beverage experience preferred
  • Can influence and negotiate in a highly matrixed global organization
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams through informal reporting relationships to develop and commercialize innovation
  • Strong collaboration & influencing skills – Must align markets/regions with different priorities and agendas to a common approach they feel good about
  • Courageous leader and self-starter that can work through adversity
  • Servant leader that can focus on meeting regional and market needs
  • Understands the global marketplace with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences
  • Experience managing agency partners to deliver breakthrough ideas and innovation platforms
  • Strategic mind with an ability to think broadly, refine questions, and influence multiple decision makers
  • MBA preferred; BA required
  • The person should be comfortable working across time zones and willing to travel internationally 20% of the time
