Job Purpose:
- Manages a product portfolio in a business franchise
- Maximises the brand potential at regional and national level
- Executes country operating business and long-range plans
- Delivers product marketing branding campaigns in line with Amgen international guidance and branding documents

Key Job Functions:
- Drives motivation of sales force towards brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings)
- Develops, localises and implements the Country Brand Plan in full congruence with International Brand Plan
- Designs and executes promotional activities (detail aids, high impact leave pieces, advertising, congresses and symposia etc.) in line with international branding and key messages
- Develops LRP with business planner
- Proposes national sales target and achieves agreement with Business Unit Head
- Partners with local and international stakeholders
- Localises & translates/implements international brand campaign
- Analyses market research and data and execute accordingly
- Coordinates competitive intelligence and drives competitive action plans
- Sources insights and intelligence to inform effective strategy and alignment
- Partners with the Medical Affairs to optimise the brand performance in a functionless approach (goals of clinical trials, KOL development, etc.)
- Agrees if required with other PM in Franchise Team on joint projects
- Recruits and manages external vendors
- Identifies business opportunities and develops business cases
- Ensures full compliance and ethics in all elements of job function
Outputs:
- Brand budgets, phasing and forecasting
- Product LEs and LRP
- Managing brand DOE budget
- Localized Country brand plans in line with global brand plans
- Sales support tools for effective field force execution
- Localized promotional campaigns
- Marketing events and Congress planning
- Ongoing brand performance tracking
- Competitor performance tracking and strategy alignment
- Business presentations for Brand/Franchise/Country Reviews
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences advantageous
- Marketing qualification advantageous
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience as a Product Manager would be advantageous
- Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry
- Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience
- Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
- Financial and budgeting skills and experience
- Computer skills (MS Office programs)
Preferred Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company
- Experience in Oncology & Haematology
- Documented track record of product launches
- Documented success in gaining or maintaining market leadership position
Reporting structure
- Reporting to Head of Business Unit Haematology Oncology
