The Role
Are you passionate about improving the lives of people diagnosed with hematologic cancers? Do you enjoy using your deep understanding of marketing to deliver creative, patient-focused initiatives and forward-thinking strategies?
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager–Hematology, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to support the strategic direction and growth of a branded hematology medicine across multiple indications in the Canadian market.
Your role in helping build the brand, accelerate uptake and achieve our ambition includes:
Build, lead and execute HCP marketing activities and tactics to promote a branded hematology medicine
Coordinate the strategic and tactical planning processes to drive success over the short-term and the long-term
Lead and develop a cross-functional digital strategy and tactical plan embedded within the overall hematology plan
Leverage insights and measure the impact of digital initiatives to optimize content and channel mix
Directly manage vendors, execute logistics, develop content and communicate with all stakeholders
Positively influence brand performance and profitability while controlling promotional expenses
Build rapport with key external experts and partner with them to elevate AstraZeneca’s leadership position in hematology, and ultimately improve the patient experience
Collaborate with key internal cross-functional partners on critical initiatives to build a differentiated and successful hematology brand with patients and HCPs at the center
Responsible for collecting and reporting Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures
Ensure key deliverables are executed in accordance with AstraZeneca’s compliance and regulatory policies, PAAB and IMC codes
Your qualifications include:
University degree or equivalent in science and/or business
A minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry and you have demonstrated your impact in multiple roles such as sales, marketing, professional education, sales training, analytics and insights
You act with urgency, constantly prioritizing work to meet business needs
You are a critical thinker and focus your work on the highest priorities aligned to the overall strategic direction with a patient-centric approach
You positively impact and influence others and quickly establish credibility while building strong business relationships
You have strong communication skills: writing and presentation and you are people focused in discussions
You have experience building digital platforms/channels
You are committed to a developing a cohesive team environment
Previous work in hematology-oncology is a plus
Previous KOL relationship management experience is a plus
French language is a plus
