Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager- BioResp, this role reflects our unique commitment to fundamentally improve the lives of people living with severe asthma by shaping an environment where a patient can get the right medicine at the right time. Too many biologic eligible patients aren’t receiving treatment that can help control their severe asthma, prevent exacerbations, and improve overall quality of life. Your work will address this need.

You will lead the internal cross-functional alignment and coordination of customer-focused activity plans, ensuring appropriate reach and impact of customer-facing activities; developing and executing plans to help activate physicians to appropriately identify and refer patients to specialists for diagnosis and optimally treatment.

In addition, you will deliver best in class digital tactics and tools for the BioResp marketing team, acting as the digital lead for Fasenra. You will build a digital approach to existing brand tactics and strategies, and use new insights to lead the development of comprehensive product plans to positively impact the value of AstraZeneca’s BioResp portfolio.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the internal global and local PRECISION team to build, lead, execute and amplify strategies and tactics to increase biologic usage with key external contacts (eg. primary care physicians, specialists, policy and payer managers, patient advocacy groups)
  • Drive a robust understanding of the patient pathway and HCPs who treat or refer by triangulating key information sources (e.g. Internal cross-functional partners, Insights, etc.)
  • Support Fasenra’s digital reach by successfully using and improving existing digital capabilities & channels through the sales force, resulting in positive customer experiences
  • Effectively budget promotional expenses to ensure optimal performance and profitability for the Fasenra brand
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.

Qualifications include:

  • University degree or equivalent in science and/or business
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated, successful pharmaceutical experience
  • Previous digital marketing experience an asset- from conception to implementation
  • Experience engaging with and collecting new insights from customers e.g. KEE’s, prescribers, patients and payers an asset
  • Proven ability to bring ideas to action in the following areas:
    • Market shaping/ expansion
    • Unbranded / disease awareness HCP campaigns
    • Patient activation
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken. French is an asset
  • Ability to travel, including overnight trips
