Purpose: As the leader of China marketing team for Ormco business, this person will focus on marketing strategy and execution of marketing plan. Responsible for analyzing the market/customer segments to find the business growth opportunities by developing business /marketing strategies and action plans. Ensure marketing and each product strategy are effectively implemented, to increase market share, sales and earnings. Lead marketing
team and develop talents.
Accountability:
1. Develop annual strategies and long-term strategic direction, including projected financial outcomes.
2. Lead and manage the overall performance of Ormco products and key marketing initiatives. Responsible for result for both short and long-term financial objectives and business growth.
3. Monitor market trends, clinical practices, regulations and policy to ensure continuing strategic fitness.
4. Provide guidance and support to product managers and project managers to prepare the annual brand plan and develop & implement quarterly action plan to achieve annual business objectives.
5. Responsible to new product strategy development and launch preparation and implementation.
6. Responsible for co-coordinating and maximize the synergy among Ormco brands. Acted as project manager and liaised with DSO, commercial operation, finance, and regulatory to ensure Ormco business operation excellence.
7. Set up competitive Ormco education platform through top key experts engagement and 3rd party program collaboration. Utilize innovative channels to enhance marketing communication.
8. Routine contact with global marketing team for the purpose to update and collect essential in-formation to facilitate sales growth of Ormco products in China.
9. Actively coach and partner with direct reports to build and implement their development plans and conducting their performance appraisal discussions. Foster communication and key competency development.
10. Responsible for organization evolution plan to build strong marketing team with high effectiveness, precise strategy and execution, and work in close collaboration.
Critical Knowledge: Knowledge of the healthcare market, marketing planning, product launch and product commercialization processes
Critical Skill:
- Bachelor or above's degree. MBA preferred.
- Medical/Pharmacy OTC background, correlation experience on marketing & sales.
- At least 10 years marketing experience, knowledge and core competencies, minimum 3 years working as a marketing manager or above leading a marketing or product team in a multinational healthcare company. Experience in medical device and healthcare consulting company preferred.
- Demonstrated success in people management and leadership.
- Strong oral and written English communication / presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills essential, including experience of working in a complex global matrixed environment.
- High passion and entrepreneurship.
