Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) provide creative ideas, concept development and art directions for marketing campaigns in the context of academic sector and design industry;
(b) develop creative projects for social media, manage multi-media production and graphic design projects for the Laboratory, including video editing, photography and photo retouching;
(c) co-ordinate initiatives for networking with researchers, research students and administrative staff such as Laboratory outreach activities;
(d) maintain the departmental accounts in various social media platforms;
(e) organise publicity events related to the Laboratory for research promotion, academic developments, community engagement and knowledge transfer;
(f) perform copywriting functions in English and Chinese; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Laboratory, the Marketing Manager, and/or their delegates from time to time.
The appointee may be required to work beyond normal office hours for outreach events, conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Creative Media, Communication or a related discipline;
(b) possess at least two years’ relevant post-qualification work experience in multi-media production in sizable organisations and/or tertiary institutions;
(c) have experience with video camera operation;
(d) be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects) and photography;
(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua;
(f) have good problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and organisation skills; and
(g) be innovative, proactive, and have good artistic and marketing sense.
Remuneration
