Job Description
At Siemens Digital Industries Software, you will join a globally distributed team that’s driving the future of marketing. The Data Analyst, Marketing Analytics position will be responsible for marketing analytics, marketing data needs, and ad hoc reporting. We are looking for an experienced SaaS analytics marketing professional to perform hands on marketing analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and data quality assurance with a global impact. The position will support projects around marketing data collection and standardization, reporting and dashboard creation, as well as marketing operations. The ideal candidate will possess significant hands-on experience creating and managing marketing reports and dashboards, be familiar with the marketing tech stack and the reporting capabilities available within them, as well as be able to serve as a resource/consultant for any marketing or analytics needs. Responsibilities: • Provides excellent customer service to the marketing organization in support of their reporting and analytics needs • Analyzes complex business problems using data from internal and external sources • Provides actionable insight to decision-makers to influence strategy and performance • Identifies and interprets trends and patterns to attribute key business drivers • Analyzes and defines metrics that tie back to business performance and initiatives • Will be a proponent of test/learn culture by enabling and supporting experimentation • Stakeholder and project management; Manage projects from start to end: build timelines and important milestones, provide regular updates to Analytics Management partners and achieve delivery against agreed upon specs • Directly produces datasets and reports for analysis using databases and reporting tools, mapping to business requirements • Empower the marketing team to answer data questions quickly and easily by building high-quality ground truth data sets and dashboards. Qualifications: • Master’s or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study • 5+ years top tier data analyst or consulting experience preferably in marketing • Expert communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment. • Stakeholder management, including understanding needs, ample communication and resolving challenges • Expert ability in creating PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders and managment • Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences • Hands-on experience with one or more language(s) used for querying (e.g., SQL, Python) • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, macros, charts, functions, vba modeling • Experience with Analytics platforms/languages like Snowflake, Python, R a plus • Experience with Tableau or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboards a plus • Experience with Advanced Analytics (modeling, optimization, forecasting, experimentation) a plus • Experience with marketing and sales analytics a plus • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience, technical and non-technical • Hands-on to get things done fast and ability to work without continual guidance • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize work • Enquiring mind with ability to recognize inefficiencies and challenge the status quo • Experience in running of A|B experiments and statistical data analysis The salary range for this position is $113,900 to $205,00 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation.
