Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking a Marketing and Pricing Manager to join our team. This position is based at our office in Mississauga, ON. Position Overview: Eaton's Canada Wiring Devices Division has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Pricing Manager based in Mississauga, ON. The primary functions of the Marketing & Pricing Manager are to assist the sales and marketing team in accomplishing departmental goals by providing functional leadership, administrative support, implementing marketing communications plans and programs in Canada, including graphic and media development as well as scheduling, literature and Sales Promotion information requests. This role will also have responsibilities of managing the business’ pricing operations including having (1) direct report (Pricing & Quotation Coordinator). In this function you will: Work with Pricing & Quotations Coordinator to ensure synergy between business’ marketing and pricing functions Maintaining and entering the business’ pricing records in SAP and ensuring data integrity Fulfilling Marketing Requirements including but not limited to the design and maintenance of marketing collateral material and Literature Fulfillment Requests for distributors, retailers, and sales personnel. Coordination with the US MARCOM team to Canadianize marketing materials, keep up to date on new visual marketing initiatives and providing administration contact for updates. Sales Promotion material creation, promotions planning and analysis. Make sure retail and ED requirements are met when creating marketing documents Managing retail marketing projects, such as POP and merchandising development that includes: merchandising strategy development, vendor management, artwork design and mock ups development, obtaining internal and external approvals, ordering, inventory planning, shipping coordination, invoice processing. Planograms development as required. Input of sample orders (accuracy and timing are important) Meet with US MARCOM team on a monthly basis to ensure that brand integration is up-to-date in Canada Template and logo usage standards within Eaton Act as main point person for all communications issued internally and externally Tracking communications on defective products testing Providing data management support and assistance to the customer service team when required Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent related experience 2 years of work experience in marketing, advertising, pricing, and/or business administration. Strong computer skills including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills Adobe Photoshop skills Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future No relocation provided Preferred qualifications: Adobe InDesign skills asset Adobe Illustration skills asset SAP Experience Experience in a Pricing Management role Knowledge in the electrical industry Position Criteria: Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced work environment Efficient and effective verbal and written communication skills Experience collaborating with Sales Engineers and Product Engineers Strong analytical approach, detail oriented, and creative problem-solving techniques Effective time management and project management skills Learn and adapt to utilizing Eaton’s preoperatory digital tools and quick learning curve of new digital tools Proficient with conflict resolution and interpersonal savvy We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
