Job Description

Summary:

Work closely with Business Line marketers marketing efforts in China covering a variety of business lines such as Energy, Chemicals, Automotive, Financial Services, Product Design, Maritime and Trade, Aerospace and Defense among others.

Marketing operations

  • Work with remote teams and manage projects in China
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to make sure all marketing programs are aligned with global company objectives and available resources
  • Help create and accelerate pipeline with tailor made strategies developed in close coordination with relevant stakeholders
    • Track and report on the performance of all marketing tactics and campaigns
  • Work with sales leads to ensure campaigns are optimized and delivering on objectives
  • Bridge communication between international and local units of the company and provide visibility for projects that offer synergy among different business lines

Events

  • Focuses on the successful operation of corporate events ensuring the optimal attendee experience while balancing the costs to achieve a maximum return on investment.
  • Manages and executes projects and marketing plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads.
  • Works with internal/external resources to obtain needed materials and services.
  • Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with outside vendors.
  • Manage the promotion, invitation, production, logistics and event follow up process
  • Manage event budgets and expense tracking.

  • Prepares ROI evaluations of events.

Programs and Campaigns

  • Responsible for the planning, development, project management and successful implementation of integrated marketing programs, including awareness, demand generation, pipeline building and sales acceleration.
  • Builds and implements marketing programs / campaigns for assigned sales channels or Country around our goals of protect, grow and acquire.
  • Develops marketing program offers and strategies designed to direct and move the buyer through the marketing funnel.
  • Responsible for assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities and developing programs to meet the growing needs of the solution, segments, Country/territory. When Country-based, is familiar with local industry and business trends as well as with key accounts, partners, press and influencers, and has experience in working with local vendors and agencies to run demand generation and awareness campaigns; actively contributes to account planning and pipeline review meetings; follows up with leads by ensuring proper qualification and conversion.
  • Devises and evolves both “push/outbound” and “pull/inbound” strategies and activities.

Content marketing

  • Proof and edit copy to make it suitable for multiple delivery channels
  • Identify channels and distribution opportunities
  • Manage the development of digital campaign assets
  • Collaborate with internal and external vendors to create, adapt and translate product and promotional materials Proactively partner with internal cross functional teams such as creative services, central events, and social media teams as well as outside vendors.

Education and experience

  • College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, International Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing related activities
  • Outstanding written and spoken English.
