The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution of impactful marketing strategy and campaigns to achieve business financial success in SEA and Taiwan.
- Collaborate with global, APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan) and regional cross functional teams to drive effective management and execution of adapted global and regional strategies; as well as create local marketing content and campaigns to drive demand, market penetration and profitable revenue growth.
- Collaborate with APJ RMDs, SEA & Taiwan sales leaders to optimize regional price and attaining realized price targets. Plans and executes country-level NPls, price actions, upgrades and obsolescence of existing products.
- Proactively monitor competitive landscape including market share, pricing, GTM, product positioning, competitive response campaigns/programs, etc
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Event Management – Actively manage quarterly events planning and review process with Sales and Marketing Operation teams. Co-ordinates all planning and marketing materials (incl. banners, booths, collateral) for large volume of external events, including Conferences, Trade events, Proprietary events and Sales team activity for direct and indirect channel for SG SEA region. Prepare marketing support materials for the regional sales meetings.
Marketing Materials – Supports the development and production of local marketing and training materials (including printed materials, Supply Center materials and promotional items) to support the region and the sales teams, this includes basic design and adaptation of materials as well as production.
Region Segment Campaigns and New Product Launches- Partner closely with Sales, TSS (Technical Sales Specialists), FP&A, FAS (Field Application Specialists) , Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing and Sales Support to co-ordinate and plan key process, events and campaigns to enable effective marketing demand generation.
CRM – Assists the region in development of CRM content, lead generation, profiling, system entries and reporting. Follow up on marketing statistics and review on campaign effectiveness
Budget – Ensure marketing expenditure for the region are on track.
Marketing processes and standards -Comply with marketing standards and follow set processes for routine work. Assist with the development of marketing processes over time. Contribute ideas for improving marketing standards and processes
Digital Marketing- Good understanding of digital platform to develop marketing programs to generate demands
Any other related tasks with are deemed relevant to the role.
Requirements:
- Preferred experienced marketer.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or any Science background.
- Minimum of 2 year marketing experience.
- Team player. Analytical, organizational skills, and strong communicator
- Experience and understanding of life science, molecular biology, cell culture, synthetic biology, etc products and how it can be applied in Life Sciences research and applied technology.
