You will be responsible to create end user acceptance and specification offering within the target segment(s). Drive and implement marketing activities for the selected market segment(s) in line with the agreed strategy. Ensure superior customer satisfaction and continuously monitor segment performance. As a Marketing Specialist you will be reporting to Local Product Group Manager in Business Area – Robotics & Discrete Automation, Auto Tier 1 located in Shanghai, China.
Your responsibilities
- Defining, implementing and reviewing target segment(s) strategies.
- Ensuring achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed. Focusing on achievement of orders and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Monitoring market trends and recommends adjustments for the strategy and plans accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes. Providing appropriate market information for long- to mid-term decision- making.
- Supporting defining and communicating the end user value proposition for the target segment (internally and externally). Supporting local Sales organization to have a positive image in the target segment(s). Participating in the development of international standards and regulations by taking an active part in the opinion leading discussion with different stakeholders and relevant committees.
- Working in coordination with the responsible salespersons, building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing key customers, maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders. Understandings customer needs in the market by visiting customers. Ensuring the resolution of customer issues. Drives continuous improvement on NPS.
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization

Your background
- University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Marketing or Business-related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or marketing related roles in manufacturing industries especially in auto field.
- Consulting or marketing analysis experience in MNCs or consulting companies is preferred.
- Must be fluent in English, proficient in using Microsoft Office applications with the advanced Excel and Power Point skills with effective presentation skills, strong customer orientation and communication skills.
- Must be Self- driven, organized, outgoing, technically versed and have proactive personality with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- BE highly motivated, self-driven, proven track record of delivering results and strong orientation to bring things forward.
