ABOUT THE ROLE

RWS Lebanon is looking for an experienced Marketing Translator to join our professional and supportive team of In-house Translators in our office in Kaslik.

You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality and accuracy on time. You will also have the opportunity to act as a Lead Translator for one or several of our client accounts, where you will be coordinating translation projects, performing quality checks, and working with the worlds’ leading brands.

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translation from English into Arabic.
• Review of translations of other in-house and external Translators.
• Understanding and following RWS’s linguistic processes and procedures.
• Understanding and following the specific processes of each client.
• Producing quality translations within given deadlines.
• Managing terminology effectively.
• Linguistic checking of Desktop Publishing output.
• Acting as Lead Translator and coordinating translation projects/planning linguistic aspects of one or several client accounts.
• Using translation tools and new technology, if necessary.
• Linguistic testing of software, help and websites, if necessary.
• Proofreading of documents, if necessary.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS

• Native Arabic speaker based in Lebanon.
• Degree in Translation.
• Experience of at least 3 years in the Marketing translation field (Preferred: Marketing und IT/Software).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to use CAT-tools and new technology, if necessary.
