Position Description:
The Marketing and Communications Director will lead Lenovo's marketing
activities in France, on the consumer and professional PC divisions, and
ensure the promotion of laptops, desktops and All-in-One, tablets and smart
devices and ARVR, Iot.
In the role, you will report to the chairman of Lenovo France and will be part
of the management committee. The mission includes the management of a team
managing all marketing activities.
As the Marketing and Communication Director, you will be required to work in
close coordination with the various sales division directors and their teams,
as well as the product managers, addressing both end customers (Global,
general public, Business and public sector, and Mid-market) and the sales
channel to define the campaigns necessary for the development of the brand on
each target. You will also work with the EMEA marketing organization.
Your responsibilities include defining the country's marketing plan by
integrating the global strategy and adapting it to the local market. You will
manage the marketing activities in the country to present the Lenovo PC
product line to end customers and to Lenovo distribution channel partners.
Also, you will set up and lead the marketing programs aimed at end customers,
from large accounts to small and medium enterprises, and manage the channel
programs.
This role requires a high level of autonomy, pro-activity, creativity,
strategic rigor, an ability to think and act quickly. Measuring the return on
investment of each activity is of paramount importance as well as total
accountability over each marketing program.
This role requires a broad knowledge of digital marketing in several business
sectors with a strong interest or experience in the technology industry.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop awareness of the Lenovo brand in the consumer and professional
markets
• Define Lenovo's marketing strategy: adapt the EMEA marketing strategy and
create 360 ° Go-to-market campaigns in each market segment
• Plan marketing budgets
• Define and execute, in coordination with media and creative agencies, the
brand's advertising campaigns
• Coordinate campaigns on social networks, both on content creation and
promotion.
• Set up, coordinate, and recommend events to showcase Lenovo products,
strategy and solutions.
• Develop relationship marketing programs for end customers
• Coordinate co-marketing / alliance activities with the distribution channel
to develop the brand and generate demand
• Support sales channel activation programs to build product and Lenovo
knowledge with tracked channel partners
• Develop relationships with our strategic Alliance partners (Intel,
Microsoft, AMD, etc.) at the local level and manage co-marketing programs in
coordination with them
• Provide clear direction to the marketing team on major programs,
initiatives, best practices, ideas and priorities.
• Follow up on reports and measure the return on investment of activities
#### Position Requirements:
Your profile:
• Solid experience in the technology industry as well as in team management.
• Strong analytical skills, be able to find solutions to problems, demonstrate
proven success in leading complex strategies and projects, and strong verbal
and written communication skills.
• At least 10 years of experience as a marketing and communication director,
preferably in the IT or technological field
• Professional experience in the public and professional field
• Strong competence and appetite for digital marketing and communication
• Knowledge of the latest news and trends in the PC & Technology industry
• Team management experience
