The Role

The Marketing and Events Executive will work closely with the Marketing Director to execute a variety of marketing campaigns to generate brand awareness, support the sales team and increase leads for Language Weaver. They should have strong communication skills (both written and verbal), be a team player, and exhibit excellent organisation skills with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Director to execute marketing campaigns designed to meet revenue targets via digital channels and events.
  • Work on all campaign elements including: Campaign project management, email design and build, creating social media content, monitoring the campaign plan against deadlines, building web content, liaising with all campaign stakeholders and internal communications.
  • Create compelling marketing assets that resonate with the target audience and drive demand.
  • Utilize a variety of marketing technologies as part of campaign design and delivery.
  • Copywriting - produce engaging and accurate copy for diverse marketing distributions.
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and actively experiment to improve customer and prospect interaction with campaigns.
  • Research and build upon knowledge of Language Weaver key target markets.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the sales team, and central marketing services.
  • Create and update the Language Weaver web content on rws.com and trados.com, ensuring all web content is correct, relevant, and up to date.
  • Project manage Language Weaver events in conjunction with the central events team - covering logistics, budget, staffing and event materials.
  • Manage the events calendar ensuring all key stakeholders are informed and responsibilities are clear.
  • Evaluate event performance against targets and use learnings to feed into ongoing development of the overall events strategy.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 3 years marketing or events experience, ideally running multi-channel campaigns.
  • Experience of managing event logistics.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills with the ability prioritise and multi-task.
  • Experience of running demand generation campaigns from start to finish.
  • Strong copywriting skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be able to develop a proactive approach to problem solving and prioritisation.
  • Technically competent and a fast learner.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
