Primary Purpose:
Assistance request in the following areas: Brand Management, Communciations and Training, Digital Dealer & origination Systems, Marketing Sales & support, Digital Sales experience, and Digital lending & Marketing Systems.


Major Projects:



Brand Management, Communications & Training
Information Notices, roster management and entry, assistance managing the POS inventory report and occasional auditing of the POS mbfsdealerdirect.com site, customer experience reorganization of SFA content

 

It is expected that the intern will be exposed to the creative process – engagement in creative brainstorming / review of creative, as well as proofreading tasks

 



Digital Dealer & Origination Systems
Create a variety of credit applications on a monthly basis to support Originations and Digital Dealer systems testing; generate, analyze and provide insights on weekly business rule reports that impact teams responsible for booking customer contracts

 

It is expected that the intern will learn the credit application system, learn how to generate reports, gain exposure to Agile and DSC environment, understand the focus of the Funding department, learn presentation skills

 

Marketing Sales & Support

Create and distribute dealer operational communications; operational support with program guides and internal systems

 

It is expected that the intern will learn to prepare informative and concise dealer communications and learn internal systems

 

Digital Sales Experience
Support the exercise for researching data logic for MBFS FCPP and compiling the results to make recommendations to the project team; testing; update status report for stakeholders;  updating the Dealer Preference Profile User Guide to support new car; organize a focus group of MBFS interns to discuss the DSE from a millennial perspective; map the online-to-in store experience

 

It is expected that the intern will learn mapping skills, functioning and contributing within a collaborative environment and testing skills


Digital Lending & Marketing Systems
Prepare supporting documentation for the Product Development Team; collaborate with the Document Management QA’s on executing test cases for QA1, QA2, QA3; update the Document Management Kanban board via Kanbo; create training documentation for end users showcasing product functionality



It is expected that the intern will learn how to prepare documentation as it relates to various marketing systems and testing skills.

 

All areas outlined above will require Microsoft Office skill set.


List of Activities:

Activities – Testing, auditing, communication (ie. writing), operational support, creating documentation, reporting, collaborating, presenting, other activities TBD on an “as needed” basis

 

Training – job shadowing, “on the job” training, team meetings, 1:1 opportunities

Please note this is a seasonal internship that will work up to 90 calendar days in our Farmington Hills, MI office. Internship program runs from May to August timeframe. Start date and end date are flexible based on candidates availability. Candidate must be currently enrolled or have graduated within one year of starting internship.
