Position Description:
Lenovo.com Marketplace Managers are responsible for the merchandising
execution of our marketplace business through management and collaboration
with multiple partner websites. This route focuses on two critical online
segments: Consumer and Small Business for the sale of our full PC and CE
catalog. This role is integral to lenovo.com’s financial success and
Marketplace growth objectives. It is important that candidates are adept at
process management, are excited by ambitious objectives, and capable of
navigating a diverse cross functional landscape to achieve results.
Candidates must have a track record of proven business results in marketing,
merchandising and online functions (search, online merchandising, content,
navigation, web analytics, and deal placement). Knowledge of Consumer and
Small Business markets is preferred. We are looking for a strong team player
with a positive, energetic, "can-do" attitude. A passion for PCs, Gaming and
technology in general is a plus.
Objectives:
• Manage Initiatives to ensure the best customer experience across all partner
platforms.
• Execute weekly product offerings.
• Build strong relationships partner accounts.
• Provide Lenovo Brand with best possible placement within marketplaces.
• Work with partner merchandisers on prioritized placements for bestselling
products.
• Ensure a strong promotional roadmap for all partner promotional campaigns.
• Financial Analysis
• Intraweek Financial updates.
• Revenue, Margin, and Commission Analysis
• Action plan to meet and exceed financial targets.
• Cross functional liaison with Buyers, IT, and product teams.
#### Position Requirements:
Qualifications
The candidate has a strong grasp of the online/eCommerce space with excellent
project management and communication skills.
• Passion for E-Commerce
• Current knowledge of internet marketplace trends and activities.
• Experience with online merchandising with a proven track record of providing
disruptive results.
• Experience working with and influencing cross-functional teams
• Experience with Marketplace integrators like Channel Advisor or Commerce
Hub.
• Experience with account management
• Experience with digital advertising spend
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills (e.g. Pivot tables, functions, analysis)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational agility and interpersonal skills; ability to work
independently, quickly and thoroughly under multiple deadlines
• Strong eye for detail and organization as well as the ability to focus on
the “big picture”
• Must be flexible and possess the ability to balance the management of
multiple projects simultaneously
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline.
