Job Purpose/Overview

 

• This position manages inventory pipeline planning and logistics service for BE-KIND japan. This involves stock level management, ordering to sourcing factories, import custom management with custom clearance agency, domestic warehouse & distribution management with 3PL suppliers. 
• This position monitors cost & KPIs, and recommend improvement opportunities / escalate potential risks to BE-KIND Japan SCM manager and Other senior members.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

<Manage Inventory pipeline planning>

•  Plan inventory pipeline and achieve good balance among service, capacity, Non-Quality Cost and cash.
•  Calculate order volume and communicate to outside Japan sourcing factories enhancing systems (SAP, etc.)
•  Track & Analyze Customer Service Level, Aging Inventory & Overall Inventory level, and drive improvement of them with LM.
•  Improve inventory pipeline planning process as mid-term objective.
•  Build constructive relationship with sourcing counterparts to maintain high operational quality and future improvement.

 

<Manage logistics operations with suppliers & internal stake holders>

•  Manage ocean/air shipment tracking and custom clearance operation with custom clearance agency
•  Manage copack/inspection planning and operations in Japan.
•  Manage stock unbalance among domestic warehouses
•  Support day to day operations collaborating with Petcare / Snackfood SCM team, Sales and suppliers.
•  Track & Analyze supply related cost (storage, handling, freight to customer, Custom Clearance, etc.) & KPIs (Logistics claims, etc.)
•  Update Inventory flight pass to Petcare / Snackfood SCM team.
•  Support continuous improvement activities for Logistics operations to achieve Value Leadership target.

•  Attend SWAT meeting and input Japan SCM related topics, such as capacity, lead time, etc.
•  Support BE-KIND Japan SCM manager for developing Japan SCM strategy
•  Contribute to team building activities of BE-KIND Japan team and BE-KIND Asia SCM team

Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification

• Fluent in Japanese (Native level)
• English communication skills in writing, reading, speaking and listening. (Equivalent to TOEIC > 800)

 

2. Knowledge/Experience

•  5 years+ experience in SCM function in manufacturer. SCM function includes planning, logistics management, customer order taking, import custom management etc.
•   2 Years+ experience in Supply Planning.
•   Working experience in international communication.
•   SAP operation experience can be advantage
