Job Title: Regional Master Data Expert

Report to: Head of Regional Planning

Business Unit: Supply Chain Operations & Strategy

Location: Shanghai

The Challenge:

• Master data and master data quality have a high impact on the performance of operational business processes, the quality of information and on overall decision making. A high master data quality level will contribute towards reduction of costs through efficiency improvements in business processes, projects, data processing and information generation.
• Monitor and improve the regional master data maintenance processes and master data change processes to secure and improve master data quality.
• Play key role in data transparency and digitalization. Improve whole supply chain process through data analysis and project facilitation.
  

The Position:

• Create and maintain material master, vendor master and customer master accurately to meet business requirement timely.
• Identify, analyse and escalate master data related issues to level of Central Master Data Manager to ensure that problems can be solved in short time.
• Generate SCM reports regularly for monitoring supply chain cost, inventory levels, and master data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance to DNP global master data standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with DNP internal control guidelines.
• Document regional CMDM standards and procedures, which need to be reviewed periodically.
• Maintain and keep monitoring related KPI and close the gap on real performance vs. targets.
• Continuously train SAP users the interaction between master data setting and PTP/OTC operations.
• Act as key role in Continuous Improvement of whole SCM.
• Analyse transactional data and value stream mapping to identify improving areas.
• Improve data transparency and facilitate digitalization.
• Run Kaizen project to help to smooth process, improve working efficiency and save operation costs.
  

The Ideal:

• Colleague or university graduate, good English both oral and written
• Knowledge of MRPII or SAP preferred
• At least 3 years of experience with multi-national enterprises in master data management
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders in the region and in global level to find continuous improvement opportunities across different business units.
• Building credibility across internal customer community
• Knowing and understanding large group of diverse internal customers as well as external customers.
