Job Description
Main goal The perfect candidate for this position will be become a materialist specialist. Will be SAP super user and point of reference in our facility. This position will establish strong working relationships with Production and Costumer Service teams to ensure that there is a good understanding of customer requirements and changing demand conditions. Job Responsibilities and authority: Responsible for the SIOP process. Balances current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements. Develops Master Production Schedule process to use in Materials Requirements Planning system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts whole ensuring desired inventory levels are maintained. Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution. Reviews planning parameters in order execution systems to ensure proper order generation Coordinates with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service groups to maintain plant-wide production scheduling information. Assists materials planning group in analyzing the need for, and size of, strategic inventories to meet customer demand fluctuations. Support to generate information on scheduled demand items for use in Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) process. Consults with master scheduling peers in feeder or recipient manufacturing plants to ensure schedules are coordinated EHS Responsibilities Separate hazardous waste from the common waste. Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers. Keep clean the work área contaminant free. Do not waste water. Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment. Identify and properly dispose all the chemicals that may contaminate the environment. Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills). Report the entry of new Chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to mantain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them. Contain oil spills and repair as necessary. #LI-MM3 Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s Degree in Business or specialized degree in planning/logistics. APICS preferred. Years and area of experience required 3-5 years Supply Chain experience / 2 year minimum in MRP experience Competencies required Detailed understanding of SIOP process. Strong knowledge of Excel and SAP experience. Experience working in ISO/IATF environments. Soft skills Strong administrative skills (organizational and time management). Problem solving and cross functional skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Results and detail oriented.
