Job Description
Main goal This position is responsible for leading, facilitating and driving the supply and Production Planning and SIOP process for Tijuana’s site enabling the operational excellence in order to ensure on time delivery, profitability and cash flow goals. Key performance indicators are Forecasting Accuracy, Sales, DOH and OTD. Job Responsibilities and authority Lead Planning, Production Control and SIOP team to meet the organizational indicators (KPI) and adjust according to business needs Drives the SIOP process through leadership in conjunction with demand planning team and deployment between plant departments Develops leading indicators that enable visibility to short and long term market trends and demand Creates a 12 month rolling Sales & Absorption forecast by Business Unit Collaborates with Operations to develop a 3-month rolling RCCP Champion’s opportunities to improve supply capabilities as appropriate and process standardization "Provides leadership and expertise to define the right manufacturing strategies (MTO, MTS, ATO) by product line and part numbers and safety stock levels" Actively participate in annual inventory Collaborates with the SAP team to identify and implement new tools that improve SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability EHS Responsibilities: Separate hazardous waste from the common waste. Place hazardous waste (gloves, rags, etc.) in assigned containers. Keep clean the work área contaminant free. Do not waste water. Report any activity that may jeopardize my safety and the environment. Identify and properly dispose all the chemicals that may contaminate the environment. Ensure the correct container for the disposal of hazardous waste (identified containers and containers to prevent spills). Report the entry of new Chemicals required for Maintenance purposes due to mantain a record updated and assure the compliance of the correct handling of them. Contain oil spills and repair as necessary. #LI-MA1 Qualifications Education level required Bachelor’s Degree Years and area of experience required Minimum of two years’ experience in production planning and SIOP processes Competencies required Strong knowledge of Excel and ERP experience (SAP preferable) . Experience working in ISO/IATF environments Soft skills Strong administrative skills (organizational and time management). Problem solving and cross functional skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Results and detail oriented.
