Eaton’s CPDI division is currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team. This position is based in Raleigh, NC. Position Overview: As a Master Scheduler, you will be an integral member of Power Quality Division (PQD) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities for production scheduling activities, loading the factories to best achieve the customer’s requirements, while managing factory capacity and inventory levels for a specified group of products. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Essential Functions: Establish and maintain master schedule accurately to generate a valid production schedule and drive material requirements accordingly. Actively participate in the SIOP process; evaluate changes in future demand and adjust forecast as required to achieve a balance between maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand and strive to meet customer expectations. Partner with Manufacturing teams to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled. Produce various weekly and monthly reports to provide vital information to management Maintain master data integrity for given product lines Partner closely with NPI project teams to support phasing in and out of products as required Provide back up support for other schedulers on the team When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we- as individuals and as a company – are stronger. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution 3 years of related professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing setting Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit will be provided. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Raleigh, NC to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: SAP Experience Microsoft Office proficiency Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field CPIM or other supply chain certification Previous experience in production planning in a Make To Order manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling and materials management. Position Criteria: Ability to demonstrate knowledge of ERP requirements and customer order processing Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions. Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule Ability to work in a growth oriented and fast paced work environment. Ability to adjust work priorities to meet continuously changing schedules Ability to set priorities and accomplish goals within time constraints.
